Current Positions

Hotel Revenue Manager

This is a new salaried full-time position within The Playford.

You will be reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with our Financial Controller, Reservations Manager, Director of Sales and Food & Beverage Manager to develop, implement and drive revenue and distribution strategies throughout the hotel. You will be responsible for maximizing revenue in all departments by developing overall pricing strategies across all market segments and distribution channels.

The successful applicant will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years previous experience in hotel Revenue Management with a proven track record
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all market segments
  • Strong understanding of yield management techniques
  • Strong business acumen and the understanding of supply, demand and complex pricing relationships
  • Advance level of computing skills Word, Excel, Opera, Micros and hotel reservations systems (TARS portal, Data Web, Resa Web would be an advantage)
  • Experience using IDeaS G3 RMS or similar.

Casual Food & Beverage Attendants

We are seeking vibrant and experienced food and beverage professionals to join our Restaurant Breakfast and/or Banquet teams.

This is a very busy CBD hotel environment where multitasking is an essential ability and previous experience in hotel operations will be an advantage.

A strong focus on customer service, excellent communication, interpersonal skills are most important together with confidence and good presentation.

These are casual positions which involve working varied hours, days, nights, weekends and Public Holidays. You must hold a South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate to apply.
